I’m a „Banker“, „Business Economist“, „Copywriter“ ,“ECD“ and „Supporter“ of Fortuna Düsseldorf. At the age of 16, I went to the reception of BBDO Germany willing to learn everything about the world of advertising. I got sent away. Years later, in order to fund my studies in business economics, I start working at the front desk of this very agency.At some point, I experimented with a briefing and started writing TV-Commercials. Successfully. Henceforward, I was working as a freelance copywriter for BBDO. After graduating college, I started my creative career as a Junior Copywriter. Even my parents concern about my poor spelling skills do not detain me from pursuing this goal.Jobs at DDB and Grey are meant to follow. Here I have worked for such renowned accounts as Volkswagen, Nike, Gatorade, Sky, Pattex, Persil, Deutsche Bank and Seat.After winning more than 150 national and international awards, including 5 Cannes lions I yearned for a new challenge. I was no longer satisfied with only creating classic advertising. I pursued my aspiration by signing up with DDB Tribal in Hamburg where I learned linking the digital with the non digital world.While working at DDB Tribal, I designed one of the most successful social media campaigns in Germany called „Million Voices“ for the German Telecom. After three successful years, I decided to return to my hometown Düsseldorf to become ECD at TBWA Germany – being responsible for Nissan, Schwarzkopf and Adidas. In 2013, GTB's European CCO asked me if I wanted to help transform GTB Germany from an adoption agency into a modern, respected and independent player for Ford Germany. I said yes. In addition to my role as Creative Lead for the German client, I creatively managed the Ford European after-sales account in the last 4 years and I was part of the Creative Leadership Board in Europe.If you had to describe the strategically thinking creative and salesman Tim in one sentence, it would be like this: Football-crazy creative who still likes to go out on the pitch himself to develop creative ideas and concepts.
