Solving puzzles has always been a passion. Helping to solve business, legal, regulatory and compliance puzzles in complex regulatory environments has been, and continues to be, my professional focus - as in the words of a former mentor: “there’s always a next move.”As part of my professional journey, I have had the privilege and honor to lead and mentor, as well as learn from, a variety of teams, including a team of attorneys and legal services specialists supporting the Operations of a Fortune 5 company, as well as a Data Analytics team focused on using legal and compliance data to promote process improvement (operational excellence), a Health Care Reform (ACA) Implementation team, including budgetary management of the multi-million dollar program, as well as a federal guidance intake team. I have also led the administrative support functions (HR, finance, IT, recruiting, legal) of a growing small business.Some of my focus areas have included: Managed Care; Operations; Compliance; Appeals & Grievances; Commercial Insurance; Government Insurance; Health Care; Health Care Reform; Consumer Experience; Digital Strategy (including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Data Integrity, Virtual Assistants, etc.); Legal Operations; Privacy; Use of legal data to drive process improvement, service excellence and growth.I have also previously served on various wholly-owned subsidiary and community Boards, and currently serve on the Board of a Delaware COA. When I am not working with the team to help solve business challenges and drive results, you will hopefully find me traveling, enjoying sporting events, or reading on the nearest beach with the waves as background music.
