I co-ordinate under-grad and post-grad journalism programs at Centennial College, including the college's joint program with the University of Toronto (Scarborough.) I developed and introduced the college's post-grad program in Contemporary Journalism, which also forms the curriculum for the UTSC joint program. I teach digital journalism, with an emphasis.

Directed a team of 20 responsible for national digital content, product and operations, social media and support across a network of multiplatform brands. Managed relations with 11 national and local sites and was the key editorial contact for content/product and marketing, advertising and technology divisions.

Accountable for staffing and content acquisition; Directed two teams – an editorial group of 25 responsible for national digital content operations and support and the Financial Post Datagroup of 30 analysts and administrators responsible for maintaining a database of corporate information on more than 4,000 Canadian public companies. Managed relations.

Accountable for editorial staffing, operations and content acquisition. Managed national editorial operations on the canada.com network of 11 newspaper sites, including National Post, and 12 Global TV sites and held the editor-in-chief role for the canada.com portal and network.

Responsible for editorial leadership of canada.com and overall responsibility for content operations, including rights management and production for business-to-business site, Infomart.ca.

Accountable for the content and editorial operations of more than 50 integrated city, newspaper and television websites. Direct reports included five senior editors managing content teams in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax. Continued as Editor-in-Chief until January 2012.

Responsible for editorial direction, operations, budget and staffing (50 correspondents in North American and Europe) for the world’s premier hockey website. Launched as a partnership between hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and Hollinger International Inc. in 2000. Acquired by Canwest Global Communications Corporation, as part of its Hollinger acquisition.
