-Serve as community liaison and main point of contact for inpatient Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility and Acute Mental Health Hospitals for children and adolescents ranging in age 8 to 17 in my assigned territory encompassing all of Virginia-Communicate programming updates, staffing, space availability, with the objective of driving referrals to my individual programs and maintaining key community relationships ultimately maintaining high census with a waiting list for bed availability -In 2023 Liberty Point maintained a census +3 against budget, which represented a 32% increase when compared to 2022, my first year of service as DBD. 2023 Referral Volume is up 9% during the same time span Oversaw an increase in daily Medicaid rate of 15.4% beginning July of 2023-Work with out-of-state payers and private insurance companies to credential Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare and our Doctors to enable the receipt of funds from new sources- ultimately increasing our payer mix by 100% with those payers on average daily rate 5-7% above the increased in-state Medicaid rate + daily education rate -Work with both external referral sources and internal stakeholders to ensure clientele receive the highest level of care with the goal of facilitating solid clinical outcomes-Successful sales professional with extensive training on how to market and suggest inpatient treatment options across a wide array of services in a competitive marketplace -Responsible for completing 30 in-person sales calls, service recovery meetings, and facility tours with medical professionals, community stakeholders, patients, and government officials weekly-Review contracts with in-state and out-of-state Government Agencies (City, State, and County) ensuring acceptable terms and conditions to protect the business interests of Liberty Point Behavioral Health Center and UHS
