I have spent the majority of my time working on ground-breaking business transformations, in both the energy and high technology sectors.Between 1993 and 2003, my client was Apple in Silicon Valley and I was a key programme manager on their global transformation including N. America, Europe and Asia. This involved leading teams designing and implementing solutions across their R&D, manufacturing, sales, services, finance, IT and procurement functions. The transformation included implementing leading technologies to support new business models that leveraged shared services, retail, e-commerce and outsourcing. I am a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Mgt Accountants and prior to KPMG, worked for Esso as a management accountant and BP as an environmental scientist. I have a BSc in Chemistry and Mgt from City University, London.

As Global Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Management Consulting (MC), I had a crucial role in shaping the global MC agenda and assisting with leading its ambitious growth plans. MC is the fastest growing business within the advisory function and represents $3bn of the total $9bn global advisory business. The business operates in 110 countries, with major markets in Europe, Americas and Asia/Pacific. I programme managed the major global investments for Management Consulting. These included the creation of global Centres of Excellence, regional businesses and the significant global investment in KPMG’s next generation knowledge and collaboration platform called Source. The objective of Source is to make KPMG distinctive in business transformations and unlock the collective experiences of the global firm. As the Management Consulting Lead for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India (EMA), I managed a regional network of over thirty countries to ensure the cascade of global strategy and collaboration across the region. The objectives of this role were to increase strategic sales across countries, encourage pan-EMA collaboration on strategic investments, share talent and align to the overall MC strategy.

I managed significant growth in the account and diversification in the services delivered.
