About Timothy Chau
I have been in the insurance industry for 5 years, and in the customer service industry for 8 years. Throughout this time I have been able to develop a deep understanding in customer behaviour and how to deliver the best customer service. I have also been able to leverage my critical thinking and problem solving skills in order to analyze areas where customers may be experiencing difficulties and offered recommendations to improve these areas. I have a high technical aptitude and am often the quickest to learn and master new tools and technologies. As a result I am often asked to be the main point of contact when it comes to these tools. Throughout all of my roles, I have always been a high performer on the team often exceeding my personal targets.In my free time I am heavily engaged in my local trading card game community and can often be found as a judge for local and regional tournaments. A lot of this comes from my passion for understanding and explaining the complex mechanics of the games themselves as well as the desire to create a positive tournament experience for the players. I am an avid gamer as well often trying to identify the most optimal strategies and character builds within these games in order to gain an advantage. Overall I am someone that is always eager to learn, able to receive feedback in order to grow and constantly looking to make a positive impact wherever I am.
