Joined early stage education technology startup as front end developer and manager of mobile web applications. Executed agile full software development lifecycle, including needs identification, planning and scheduling, coding, reviewing and testing, and ensuring final product addressed stakeholder needs. Worked closely with backend and designers to create an integrated and seamless user experience. Built product using jQuery 1.8.2, jQuery Mobile 1.2.0, Knockout.js, interfacing with exposed RESTful API on Amazon AWS platform. Also developed and managed existing iOS application built with Appcelerator Titanium. Refined UI/UX, workflows, and added functionality including iPad compatibility and Safari Custom URL Scheme handling.

Web development, application programming, and graphic design for the orientation services suite of websites for the second largest institution in the nation. This included responsibility for all 7 department sites, keeping them up to date and resolving any issues that arose. Redesigned and developed three sites to use modern technologies including interactive features with jQuery, modern design with CSS3 and mobile-first Responsive Design, and streamlining user experience (UI/UX).Designed the web based virtual orientation program for all (16,000+ annually) incoming students. Created mobile web scavenger hunt application (using PHP and MSSQL) to familiarize students with the campus, managing over 200 simultaneous students and saving over $2,000 from the previous licensed product.

Developed official "CHEP Innovation" iPhone app, enabling employees to view reference material, submit product and service ideas, and watch videos from company executives discussing innovation. Self-taught Adobe PhoneGap / Cordova 1.6.0, jQuery Mobile 1.1.0 to create the application on a rapid timetable, and worked with Information Services department for deployment using Tangoe Mobile Device Management (MDM).Filmed and produced four "Innovate in 48" video segments, working closely with company executives to inspire culture change within the organization. Designed a competition to market the launch, utilizing QR codes and digital signage throughout the building. Utilized Apple Final Cut Pro 7 to edit, filming on a combination of Nikon D3100 and iPhone video, using DeEsser and other filters to normalize video and audio from the two devices.Helped launch the Innovation Studio, a collaborative space with a unique look and feel to foster ideas. Created a video press release to announce the space internationally, despite having no budget to create was professional and high quality to the level that it was shared externally with our top customers.

Studied and recommended Gartner and Forrester research best practices for profile creation and other sales areas. Organized, coded, and identified key attributes and details from data using Excel.Leveraged marketing automation tools including Radian6 and Eloqua in conjunction with Branding and Public Relations teams. Created reports to track success in online marketing, email distribution (Constant Contact), and other marketing exposures.Created several internal marketing campaigns, designing imagery for use throughout internal company tools including digital signage and employee portal. Campaigns included a multi-installment office safety messages, philanthropic promotions, and imagery to welcome clients during their visit.

Started as LET's first intern and worked up to Senior Web Development Specialist, managing a support team for our 1,000+ clients, primarily consisting of the hotel industry. Designed and built several client sites and developed tools for collaboration. Gained experience in SEO, PPC, and social media advertising.
