I am recognized as an easy going, but extremely aggressive go-getter. In sales, I am a seasoned rep of over 20 years with a hunter mentality. I excel greatly in B2B as well as B2C which includes D2D, telesales and direct sales. I am easily approachable, and have yet to understand what the word "no" means. As a Manager I am direct and objective, yet harmonious with my Team and have a keen desire to train and coach my Team to their greatest potential. My career goals are to find a very stable company that offers a lot of room to grow. I am extremely money motivated career wise. But I also have a life that I enjoy living to its fullest. I would be an amazing addition to your Sales and/or Leadership Team. I am a leader by nature, which drives my ability and desire to train those that need a little extra push. Sales reps that I have trained in the past learn their jobs quickly, and become great reps. Ive learned that being a great leader, also requires being a great follower. The two go hand-in-hand. My management style is two-fold. I believe in people as being individuals. Everyone has their own way, so you will often see me leading from behind. However, different reps need different management styles. So, other times I will lead from the front or by example. My integrity and my word are two of my most important attributes. If I say in going to do it, it will get done.

Outside Sales Representative/Team LeadNexgreen Lawn Care Feb 2014 - Nov 2015NexGreen Lawn Care is niche lawn care company. We offer a very different approach to turf management by combining organic lawn care with traditional turf management standards. We pride ourselves on long relationships with our customers with SERVICE being every employee's first and highest standard. Everything else falls under impeccable customer service. In only three years we have grown the branch from start-up to a $2.8M business YTD. My position with the company is to perform outside and inside sales duties, as well as train new and seasoned sales and production representatives in the art of selling lawn care. Columbus, Ohio is the most aggressive market in the industry and we must be strong negotiators as well as strong closers. This is an impulse buy, so if we walk away, someone else will get sell the prospect. We do this through neighborhood marketing by knocking doors cold as well as other marketing methods through mail and digital media. The reps I train, if they will follow, will learn how to sell this product and sell it well.

Field Service Representative B2BNfib Sep 2010 - Oct 2011NFIB was an extremely intense and challenging B 2 B sales position. The National Federation of Independent Businesses is the nation's largest political lobby for small businesses. It was my job to aggressively solicit small business owners for donations to NFIB. These visits were cold calls and I had one shot to get past the gatekeeper and to the business owner in as little time as possible. There were no appointments made. If I saw someone that looked like the business owner, I would smile at the receptionist and walk directly to his office. The script was memorized word for word and the close was aggressive asking for donations from $500 and upwards of $5000.00 or more. I did very well at this position and learned a great deal of sales aggressiveness while still being polite and professional. -
Sales Manager; Horticulture And Lawn Route ManagerTrugreen Apr 2005 - Sep 2010As a Sales Manager it was my job to insure profitability for a $5M lawn care business. After hiring reps, I would train them to become top-tier outside AND inside sales reps (residential door knocking and telemarketing) as well as extensive agronomy and horticultural training to form a solid sales representative. I was in charge of creating and leading all sales campaigns and held accountable to an intense sales budget with weekly and monthly forecasting. As a Horticultural Route Manager it was my goal to produce the income for the branch. Through proper routing procedures I would apply horticultural chemicals to residential and commercial landscapes. It was my duty to keep all chemical records as well as properly fill my service vehicle daily. I maintained my vehicle and pumps through daily inspection and did complete tear downs and rebuilds during winter months to insure proper functioning for the following year for all technicians. Customer service and retention were key indicators of our routes.
