Lead front end patterns across the entire development team. The first Frontend Developer hired at Vndly; brought in to bring the codebase and patterns up to date using digestible migration strategies. Codebase was jQuery and Django templates with unorganized CSS files. Moved to stack listed above based on extensive research dating back to my time on the Kroger Design System team. Create and maintain reusable components for all levels of use: from small individual foundational components to large business-logic-heavy collections of components that need to work in tandem.Create architectures that enable various roles to do their job: Devs, Implementations, and our Users. This means deploying the right solution at the right level of abstraction. Deliver multiple levels of abstraction where different roles access different levels; each level needs to be thought out before building the higher levels.

I sit on a Design Team consisting of various positions across the company that help steer the design (aka feature sets) of each of our products. I help create mock-ups in Balsamiq which, once approved, I design to full realization in Photoshop. The Photoshop designs are used as a style guide for front-end styling. I write HTML/CSS, minimizing use of images and maximizing style via CSS whenever possible.
