As financial analyst at Europe's market leader in last minute travel, L'TUR Tourismus AG, I could practice and improve my skills I have gained in my bachelor studies of tourism economy, as for instance well-trained analytical and abstract reasoning plus independent solving of problems. After my graduation I have made the conscious decision to first gain two up to three years of professional working experience before studying for a master degree. I think this helped me to develop a better understanding of business issues and linked my theoretical knowledge with the practical world.With the start of the winter semester 2014/15 I decided to begin my master studies in International Business Management with focus on finance in Aachen. I spent my first two semesters in Aachen, after that I went to the Edinburgh Napier University to take part in the double degree programme. The title of my master's dissertation was "Cyber- and IT Security Risk Disclosure – A Study of Annual Reports in Germany and the UK".Now I'm looking for a job in the area of management accounting, consulting and risk management in the area of Cologne.
