My wife and I owned and operated our own cafe. We had bought it from a couple that had retired from the business. Even though the business was growing, the incredible overhead and dwindling economy were two big storms that were difficult to weather. We decided to close up shop before it got worse.

I wore many hats while employed at Track Enterprises. The majority of my time there was spent managing JP's Coffee and Espresso Bar. I loved working with others and bringing out the best in the employees. I also was the Director of Marketing for Rubyjuice, a smoothie shop that the owner started from the ground up and eventually franchised. Another hat I wore while there was Senior Consultant for On Track Coffee Consulting. In this position I was a consultant that helped other coffee shops around the country improve their systems and their marketing efforts to improve their business.
