My mission is to uplift underestimated people primarily Black communities around the world. I walk in my assignment daily in the Mississippi by providing entrepreneurship education, non-extractive capital, business advising to Black entrepreneurs, farmers, and artists. I previously worked with the Mississippi Humanities Council to oversee the Racial Equity initiative projects throughout the state of Mississippi. This role allows me to work with grassroots organizations to promote systematic change through public dialogue. My work as an adult educator goes beyond Mississippi as I continue to collaborate with institutions of higher education to provide experiential learning opportunities for diverse students.
