Lead Staffing Analyst
Current• Monitor and review staffing level in units throughout the hospital system• Calculate staff to patient ratios to determine staffing requirements for the units• Forecast Future Fill Rate/Staffing needs based on staff availability and projected census• Audit closed future schedules for low staffing levels/FTE leakage, report findings and provide recommendations for recruitment or interfacility movement based on skills• Create/insert schedules in Smart Square for staff picking up shifts• Deploy Core/Float staff to units within facility based on unit needs and staff member skill• Deploy Enterprise staff to facilities in assigned region based on needs/critical ratios• Recruit staff for facilities in need of staffing for specific shifts and skills• Answer calls in the Resource Management Center queue that are calling out for shifts, picking up extra shifts for overtime and incentive or spot bonus offers• Open self-scheduling option in Smart Square for schedule selection based on baseline forecast and FTE increase from business intelligence data for projected census numbers• Run reports and compile data for report dashboards and readouts for facility leaders and executives providing the staffing levels for facilities, fill rates and staff that have been delayed or cancelled due to low census and report out on staff not in attendance due to unscheduled absence, unscheduled PTO and no call/no show• Supervise and support Staffing Analysts on the shift, monitor the RMC ACD call queue to ensure service level KPI’s, clear roadblocks and address escalated issues for staffing needs, scheduling requests, contract interpretation/clarification and Team Member eligibility for Spot Bonus and other financial incentive offers
