Reporting to the Global Head of Talent this role is responsible for all aspects of Talent Acquisition & Delivery for CNOOCs UK Head Office, including areas such as Subsurface & Engineering, Business Development, Commercial, Legal and Finance.

This position is responsible for the development and execution of global strategies to support Nexen and CNOOC entities in the attraction, development and management of all geoscience and subsurface talent globally. Mainly focused around the Global Exploration and International Development Organization and UK Developments Groups. Working closely with the Exploration Leadership Team I also support new country entries and strategic partnering. Additional Roles and Functions include:Operational Delivery of Africa Exploration Group Operational Delivery of GEaID HoustonOperational Delivery of East Coast Canada Exploration TeamSecurity HSE Focal Point for the London offices in which I work closely with security providers and the Met Police. In my role as Geotechnical Talent Acquisition for Nexen, I am focused on recruiting the very best Geo-science candidates for our international projects based out of our UK offices. I was the first Talent Sourcing Advisor at BP, partnering with the Management team to role out an integrated sourcing model to (CPO which became GPO) and the North Sea. My scope of work was creating an internal sourcing function which would focus on attracting the best technical professionals into BP as an organisation. I partnered with the established recruitment teams and technical screeners for the assets and functions to enable a project role out for the business including HSSE, SO&R, Functions, PSVM and Projects.
