From copywriters and editors to brand strategists and illustrators. This lean strategy of team creation is all about partnership and shared ownership and keeps the overhead low while getting the highest-possible result.Zero21 develops brand and corporate identities, as well as brochures, leaflets, annual reports, editorial design, advertising design, signage & wayfinding, and internet and intranet sites for clients located in Australia, the Netherlands, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

The Archikidz Rotterdam Foundation allows children to become acquainted with their built environment in a playful way. Every year, Archikidz Rotterdam organises a large architecture event for more than 300 children aged seven to twelve. Archikidz is a happy and social event, making children aware of architecture, their built environment and their own talents. And: giving children with diverse backgrounds the opportunity to meet and learn from each other. That is our mission. Under the guidance of professional architects they learn to design and think about a theme. The theme is different every year. Moreover, to reach as many children as possible, the day is completely free!

Keolis Downer/Yarra Trams operates the Melbourne tram network, which is the world’s largest tram network. In my role as Advisor Design & Production I have been responsible for the design development and production of all their corporate and customer-facing visual communication. This included full managerial authority of the external contractors and full accountability for their contracts and budgets. In this role I have managed the full brand refresh of mother company Keolis Downer, high-level franchise publications, business plans and most recently the signage suite and orientation documentation of the $190 million upgrade of New Preston Depot.

Melbourne, Australia

For over 2 years I have been Design Consultant at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC), the lead government agency of the State of Victoria. My role included brand design, project and production management, and liaising between a range of internal and external stakeholders. Through this central agency I have worked on a variety of projects for most of the government departments. During these two years I have been responsible for the complete branding for Australia Day 2014 and 2015, as well as for a multimillion-dollar Fire Services Property Levy campaign, including the development of a TV commercial, from concept development to production. In 2014, I designed the Anzac Centenary Information Package, for which I was nominated for the prestigious DPC Award.

At Anthem! Melbourne, formerly known as Perks Design Partners, my role was as Project Leader/Senior Designer on the brand transition of Navitas, Anthem! Melbourne’s second largest account and a world leader in the development and provision of educational services and learning solutions. In this position I was responsible for the development and implementation of their corporate brand and sub brands, including the development of the interiors for their offices and campus areas. I communicated directly with their Brand Management department and the different subsidiaries.

V>HK was a Rotterdam-based agency and had a wide variety of appealing customers, including international brands like Aprilia, Bridgestone/Firestone, KPMG, Port of Rotterdam, Unileverand several government ministries. In my final position, I mostly worked independently, from concept to concrete realisation, including finished art and printing supervision. However, I also supervised the finished art department and junior and mid-weight designers and Art Directors, and I had direct contact with clients.

ECT is one of the largest private containerised cargo handlers in the world. During my time there I contributed to the formulation and implementation of their Corporate Communications policy. Furthermore, I initiated and advised on the establishment and safeguarding of a positive corporate image in line with the desired positioning of ECT in the market. To ensure optimal results, I maintained close contact with members of the General Management, terminal managers, contemporaries in international ECT-branches (main language English) and various other internal and external policy-making and operational departments.
