- Lead the Naugatuck Railroads Sales, Marketing, and Business Development efforts- Proactively seek new business opportunities through inbound & outbound marketing, cold calls, referrals, trade shows, and partnerships- Assist Operations and top Management with various company projects and objectives- Optimize profitability by archiving and analyzing various railroad data points to assure the most efficient results and strategies are carried out- Develop, implement, and manage all company rate authority publications- Maintain strong working relationships with connecting carriers and various rail professionals

- Oversee and develop accounts within Connecticut Marketing/Sales territory- Compile and analyze data to understand current or past situations that affect decision-making processes- Establish optimal pricing and traffic lanes for each customer while maximizing Pan Am’s profit- Develop, maintain, distribute, and renew/expire assigned commodity pricing publications- Coordinate with carriers across national rail network to assure timely, accurate and efficient railcar routing- Work cross-functionally with various departments within the company to resolve issues or implement change

- Understand industry trends to assist in sales- Offer creative and insightful solutions to address customer needs when a standard option is not available- Communicate with customers to identify and fulfill all their product needs- Manage inventory stock at established customer plant locations- Maintain and build existing customer base- Provide top quality customer service- Additional duties include AR, merchandising, inventory management, receiving, and purchasing

- Supervise on-board train crew members to maintain a safe, efficient, and rule compliant environment- Maintain required certifications to comply with federal regulations- Work as a team to discuss and implement a course of action to accomplish daily tasks- Communicate with Yard Master, Dispatcher, Track Foreman, along with other trains to assure safe operations- Use switch list to set out cars at proper locations along assigned route- Maintain and update train manifest in accordance with federal regulations

- Assist guests with any and all questions to assure they have a memorable experience- Explain any promotions to guests in a manner that draws attention to the sponsor company- Professionally represent the company to build and maintain brand image- Maintain a safe environment for guests and employees
