Involved in designing enhancements to Internet and Mobile Banking to provide a better customer experience as well as resolve production issues.
Designed a solution to the legacy integration application to provide additional redundancy and isolation to key customer channels. Previously other channels were at risk of being impacted by certain failures on other channels.
Involved in deep technical analysis and design discussions relating to migration of the legacy integration to the cloud.

Solution Designer for Clydesdale Bank for the demerger from parent company National Australia Bank.
Phase 1 involved working through key technical and business dependencies on NAB where the entities could not be considered separate without logical or physical separation of data / systems and or the business/technical roles. Solutions involved a combination of manual processes and technical implementations, working closely with the impacted business units and external vendors.
The next phases involved standing up Clydesdale Bank technical capabilities to remove the dependency on NAB systems that were allowed to be used under a transitional service agreement for a limited time. This required product and service provider assessment, along with deep technical analysis to support the target state architecture, working very closely with the Treasury Business unit, NAB and Clydesdale Technical teams and service provider.

1) Lead Solution Designer for Integration Team / Solution for the Digital Stream of the Nextgen Project.
Key aim was to design Enterprise services that would be consumed by Digital consumers, ie. Desktop and Mobile Internet Banking. Role included:
- Managing 4 - 6 team members in the delivery of Enterprise Service designs
- Design a new Service Mapping Spreadsheet for detailed design, mandated for program wide use
- Designed Error Translation capability
- Defined Service Logging patterns
- Reviewed Service Designs
- Defined Service interfaces (based on IFW)

2) Integration SME - Solution Designer for the Customer Sync Stream of the Nextgen Project.
Key aim was to ensure legacy and Nextgen customer data maintained consistency, which included
- Assisting team with integration related service issues
- Design solutions to resolve defects or functional gaps.

- inc socialisation of options to Release Architect / Build / Delivery managers for the program

1) Technical Specialist assisting the re-platforming of the GCS platform from Roma / Mercator to use Oracle Service Bus and WTX (Mercator). Role included:
- Design enhancements to core components to migrate the existing capability to OSB
- Problem analysis, defect fix / resolution
- Provided guidance on required performance testing and platform resilience
- Assisted assets whom consume GCS services in understanding the re-platforming project and ensuring they were satisfied with what was being tested / implemented.

2) Worked on various other NAB projects performing design and analysis, producing High Level Design specifications or smaller artefacts depending on the required solution. Role Included:
- designing a custom solution to ensure reliable message delivery with a replay capability based on MQ Series. Used to ensure Foreign Exchange currency bookings were actioned.
- designed / documented proposed changes to the banks website in respect to identifying the device accessing the site and which version of the page should be loaded, ie. desktop, mobile, etc.
- produced a detailed pack describing solutions / impacts / customer experience to ensure the solution would meet the business owners expectations.
Also frequently consulted on other projects that involved the banks integration platforms, GCS and CSI

Responsible for the customisation / configuration and deployment of a third party Business Internet Banking product ( Bottomline Technologies ) . Role Included:
- Technical Lead for Release 2.1 of the Vendor Code base from a packaging perspective.
- Worked with numerous parties inc - Vendor / SCM Team / deployment team / test team / BA's / production support and implementation teams

- Develop scripts / solaris packages to install the software and apply environment based configurations

Worked in the Central Services Integration (CSI) team, the "replacement" for GCS and its technology stack.

CSI introduce the TIBCO set of integration product, inc Business Works and iProcess.

- manage 2 to 3 resources responsible for deploying and configuring code / environments for dev thru to production
- ensure that vendors adhered to NAB standards and processes
- review vendor artifacts, inc designs and program specs
- design service interfaces and solutions
