As children, we all had that one job we dreamt of doing..My childhood dream was to become a club manager at 1. FC Köln.I was a huge fan. The players were my heroes and my role models; true legends! And even back then ,I wanted to make an impact and bring about change, which is why I developed the desire to become a manager – ideally, of course, for my favorite club. But it wasn't until my studies in Business Informatics that I realized how big the world outside the soccer field is.Programming has always brought me a lot of joy, but the idea that I could actually earn money with it was a surprising realisation for me – Honestly!By starting out my career in IT consulting, I was able to combine my passion for programming with my ambition, which helped me find my path. The team spirit at mindsquare ultimately convinced me to stay for the long-term, because today I contribute to making mindsquare a place where people enjoy working and want to stay for the long term. And although I never became a manager at 1. FC Köln, I think I found the best alternative wherein my passion for learning, and building strong working relationships, as well as IT consulting are operated as best.I wonder what my younger self would say?
