Worked with several US federal government agencies and witnessed the troubles they had with deploying and managing encryption—created AlertBoot to address this compliance and security challenge..• Grew AlertBoot product revenue to over $40 million USD and install base to over 500k daily active users by leading 150+ globally distributed employees and 70+ strategic partners.• Managed and designed private and public cloud deployments to service AlertBoot’s customers with 99.999% uptime.• Created the AlertBoot Partner Program that accounts for approximately 80% of product sales by engaging system integrators around the globe on both a technical and business level.• Created collaborative culture that fostered the desire for continuous improvement for all business units. This positive culture is why AlertBoot has dozens of employees who have been with us for over 10 years, and a customer retention rate over 90%.• Led 2019 cloud migration from Amazon Web Services to Google Cloud Platform, resulting in a $240k reduction in annual cloud expense through a software architecture redesign that used GCP services such as Firestore, Cloud Spanner, BigQuery, Google Kubernetes Engine, and Google Cloud’s rich array of network services.

Created this SaaS business to serve the cellular retail industry after working with a multi-location T-Mobile retailer struggling with managing his business. Over 8,000 cellular retail stores across North America successfully used the CellularManager platform for their front-line point of sale, accounting, human resource planning, and marketing needs.• Grew the install base to over 8,000 retail locations across North America generating over $3 million in annual recurring revenue by supporting our inside sales team.• Maintained 100% service uptime during my last five years in this position by designing and investing in various levels of hardware, software, and cloud redundancy. This was especially critical for supporting our brick-and-mortar retail customers who could not afford any financial disruption to their businesses. • Architected and managed our private data center and led our journey to a private cloud and ultimately to Amazon Web services. This resulted in a $900k reduction in our yearly hosting expenses for the CellularManager platform.

Harbortech was a privately held electronic components distributor in Boston, MA and Taipei, Taiwan. Served as their IT person while I was in college, and it was my first experience as a product owner and software engineer building a custom business application.• Wrote a custom ERP system that resulted in fewer operational mistakes and a reduction in employee expenses by over $500k per year by automating tedious manual business processes.• Managed a team of 4 other consultants to maintain internal network uptime and various desktop IT needs.

Netegrity was a revolutionary single sign-on (SSO) software manufacturer. The SiteMinder product is still heavily used nearly two decades later by many enterprise customers worldwide. • Taught nearly 100 SiteMinder classes ranging in size from 15-50+ students at a time. Was amongst the first technical trainers for Netegrity. • Successfully deployed SiteMinder product at customers such as Morgan Stanley, Compaq, Ingram Micro, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Wells Fargo, Citibank, and General Electric.• Served as a sales engineer for enterprise software deals ranging in size from $250k - $3 million.
