RYO is one of Britain's longest running youth orchestras. I volunteered my services as a web and graphic designer to Reading Youth Orchestra to help them raise the orchestra's profile and create an up-to-date website for past, present and prospective members to use.

I managed maintained and developed the company websites for INS News Agency Ltd and Industrial Communications and Design Ltd (sister company to INS News). This included: http://www.insnews.co.uk, http://www.citrus-studio.co.uk and http://www.citrus-corporate.co.ukWorking as the designer for Citrus involves regularly producing seasonal artwork for printed promotional materials, emails and website updates. I also regularly helped with photo editing and assisted in developing and teaching image manipulation techniques and other skills. For INS News, I designed and developed a database system to track jobs and orders through from creation to billing. I worked closely with the photographic department, providing technical assistance with more complex image editing and ensuring images reach their intended destination.I also provided technical solutions within the office ranging from software and hardware tuition to IT support and liaise with our external IT and telecoms providers. I have been involved with the procurement of IT and mobile equipment for INS and ICD and am responsible for integrating new equipment into the existing infrastructure.

RethinkDesign is my freelance persona. I have created posters, business cards, flyers & websites for a range of different clients. I have maintained and built portfolio websites for photographers & designers, given small businesses and identity and even re-branded an orchestra.
