SchoolStatus is a platform company backed by PSG Equity and is addressing the K-12 education market with data driven communication software. I was brought in by PSG to align the operational and financial strategy.

Tribute serves the end of life and funeral home industry with management software, websites and eCommerce solutions. After representing Frazer Consultants in the majority sale to PSG Equity to form Tribute Technology in August of 2018, PSG recruited me to join the company as the CFO. We subsequently acquired and integrated seven companies in under 14 months before engaging William Blair - Investment Banking to sell the company, ultimately selling a majority interest in the company to The Carlyle Group, with a minority interest to Vista Equity Partners in October 2020. Under Carlyle, I led three additional acquisitions and took the position of Interim President and CFO.

Stepping Stone was an investment and dental practice management firm dedicated to the advancement of independent dental practices. As the Founder of Stepping Stone, I identified market inefficiencies, formulated the business strategy, structured the business and financial model, formed strategic industry relationships, created a Clinical Advisory Board, and raised equity and private debt to fund the firm’s business model. We sourced and acquired 12 dental practices in Wisconsin and successfully transitioned the practices to our associate dentists.

Springboard Capital Strategies is a private equity consulting firm assisting companies in transition, growth and value creation. DaneVest was a private equity brokerage firm licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission that was spun out of T. Wall Properties, a large commercial office and multifamily housing developer in Madison, Wisconsin. The firm structured private equity funds in real estate and technology and raised equity capital through high-net-worth individuals and managed retail account managers. I established independent operations, hired and managed staff, and developed new distribution channels for the firm’s private placements.

Kips Bay Partners was an early stage venture capital firm with an investment thesis in Med-Tech. The firm merged its efforts into a single technology and became Kips Bay Medical.

Baird Venture Partners managed a diversified fund with a focus on investments in early to growth stage companies within the Healthcare and Business Services sectors. As a healthcare investment professional involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment activities, I sourced deals, led due diligence, managed investments, and participated in fund management and fundraising for Baird Venture Partners Fund I and Fund I(B).

Baird is a middle market investment bank where I had experience with multiple product areas including mergers & acquisitions, equity underwritings and private placements in various industries.
