I am Professor of Chemical and Materials Engineering in the Department of Chemical Engineering (http://www.bath.ac.uk/chem-eng/) at the University of Bath (http://www.bath.ac.uk/) in the UK. I am a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (FIChemE), Fellow of The Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), Chartered Physicist (CPhys) and Member of the Institute of Physics (MInstP). I have over 29 years experience as an academic at the University, and before then — also at Bath — as a PhD student and postdoctoral researcher.
