A veteran of the Australian comic book scene, Tim McEwen has been making comics since the 1980s. Most notably he co-created the award-winning and internationally distributed comic 'Greener Pastures' which follows the trials, tribulations and sometimes the bowel movements of Trevor Bovis, bull-turned-social-activist-turned-sellout-lawyer. Tim received the The Comic Arts Awards of Australia 2018 Platinum Ledger Award for contributions to the Australian comics community, and has been nominated three times for the Australian Cartoonists’ Association's prestigious Stanley Award for Best Comic Book Artist. In total, he's been nominated and shortlisted 24 times for various awards. The Greener Pastures comic itself has been nominated 19 times and has won two awards. His work has featured in 25 exhibitions domestically and internationally. Work continues on Greener Pastures, which remains Tim’s primary creative focus. Tim is also a film storyboard and concept artist, cartoonist, illustrator, graphic designer and educator.
