I am primarily responsible for:• Delivering and developing a wide range of basic to intermediate-level digital skills courses, workshops, drop-ins and OCR accredited digital skills courses to Clarion (and wider) residents. • This includes tutor-led group and 1to1 training and I also develop new training courses and workshops including development of lesson plans, learning material and supporting activitiy and reference resources,• All of the training opportunities are designed to help improve attendees digital skills and their life and employment opportunities.• I also provide input and support to ad-hoc training events and projects e.g. I created a 1000-word nomination that resulted in the female members of the Clarion Futures Digital Team winning the "Women in Housing - Team of the Year" award - the national awards ceremony was hosted, and the winners were announced, at the Old Trafford cricket ground on 10 October 2019; we had a great night!! At end-Jan 2020 (after 1 year in the post) I had successfully delivered training to 739 learners and I'm looking forward to supporting many more to come!! On 24/12/18 I had successfully delivered 66 courses to 445 learners since joining Go-Train on 21/8/17. I have really enjoyed helping others to improve their life and employment opportunities. When I first spotted Go Train's mission statement "Transforming lives by improving skills, preparing for jobs and building careers" .... I just couldn't resist! I am now delivering a wide range of group-based training courses (covering; ICT, employability, customer service, retail and personal and social skills, skills for independent living, enterprise) to unemployed people of all ages. It is a pleasure and privilege to do so. I am also continuing to deliver Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and Adult MHFA Lite courses via MHFA England. During the year I worked with We Are Digital as a contracted self-employed trainer and tutor, I successfully delivered 129 one-to-one & group-based training sessions (90 learners), 6 x 1-day “Train the Trainer” workshops (29 Tutors) and a "Digital Awareness for Employment" workshop for 16-19 year olds. I really enjoyed my time partnering with We Are Digital, they provided excellent support and a consistent bookings service for the courses that I delivered.
