My focus is on complex disputes, claims, and bid protests over federal, state, and local government contracts.My experience spans bid protests, claims, and disputes at the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the Boards of Contract Appeals, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims (COFC), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, state courts, and binding arbitration/mediation. I also represent companies in general civil litigation, internal investigations, and related formal and informal disputes. I frequently advise clients on federal, state, and local regulatory and compliance issues. I help companies navigate the SBA's rules, including the 8(a) program, HUBZone, SBIR, and others. I have deep and extensive E-discovery experience. I maintain an active U.S. Top Secret Security clearance.I publish and speak on a variety of legal issues, especially bid protests. At The George Washington University Law School, I was a member of the Public Contracts Law Journal (PCLJ) and focused on federal procurement. I was a Summer Associate at Fox Rothschild. Prior to that, I worked for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) on bid protests and claims during my second year of law school. In addition I volunteered with the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project (MAIP) and with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA). I graduated early from Olivet Nazarene University with a Bachelor's of Science in Corporate Communication, with a double minor in Political Science and Philosophy.
