Works closely with, and leading, Capacity Managers and Analysts, in the setup and delivery of the Capacity Management process.  Responsible for the architecture and implementation of Capacity Management System and presentation of capacity plans for each account within the region. Manage the daily tasks and training of multiple Capacity Managers and Capacity Analysts. Identify opportunities for automation of the Capacity Management process. Translate business requirements, strategies and forecasts into requirements for service demand. Ensure that service performance and capacity is monitored and measured against service targets with appropriate thresholds set for automated alerting and ticketing. Engineer collection and warehousing of component level data to be used for analysis, trending, forecasting, and regular reporting. Virtual and physical server components, network components, storage and backup components, license capacity and contracted client devices are all in scope.

Plans and improves enterprise practices and strategies, client engagement, governance, capacity management and planning, infrastructure migrations, team leadership and development, enterprise documentation and IT support. Manage the daily tasks of multiple engineering teams responsible for the administration of multi-site environments including AIX/HACMP, DB2, EMC/IBM SANs, VMware ESXi, Linux and Windows servers, etc Serve as the primary escalation point for technical staff Manage critical projects to ensure superior design, proper configuration and necessary testing for seamless deployment into business critical and mission critical environments. Mentor Systems Administrators in troubleshooting system and application issues. Establish and institute policies to improve the efficiency, reliability and accountability of work completed by technical staff.

 Design and administration of replicated multi-site environment including 70+ Windows/Linux virtual servers running on VMware ESX and physical MS SQL and Exchange clusters. Administration of multiple EMC Clariion Storage Area Networks. Backup administration of EMC Avamar clusters. MSSQL database administration. Design and implementation of .Net e-commerce environment running in IIS.  Active Directory Administration.

 Design and administration of Unix systems including AIX, Solaris, HP-UX and Linux running on a variety of hardware platforms. Design and administration of Microsoft Windows server systems running on a variety of hardware platforms. Administration of EMC Symmetrix Storage Area Network. Administration of VMware clusters. Design and implementation of e-commerce solutions including IIS, .Net applications, Apache, Tomcat and Jboss in a MSSQL and Sybase environment. Design and administration of IBM MQ infrastructure running on Windows, Solaris, OS400. Design and administration of Microsoft Active Directory domain spanning multiple sites. Design and implementation of customer data flow within Visa PCI regulations.

 Maintain software and deploy code of large, clustered production web store environment including Apache web servers, Tomcat/Jboss in an Oracle and MSSQL environment EMC SAN administration Maintain hardware, software and operating systems of 60+ servers. Monitor space usage of servers attached to EMC SAN and upgrad where needed. Daily, weekly and monthly backup of mission critical data.
