During this engagement with TVWD I served as Interim IT Services Director as they searched for a permanent Director. While at TVWD I delivered on the following commitments:• Participated in recruitment and selection of the permanent IT Services Director.• Provided day to day management of the IT team.• Made significant improvements to the executive IT oversight process including project intake and approval, prioritization, and project tracking, and risk management.• Improved relationships between IT and the business. Drove consistent and open communications.• Made IT organizational changes to improve focus and delivery.• Reviewed IT strategic plans and initiated creation of a 5-year IT project roadmap.

Responsible for all aspects of information technology within UTI. Took over IT for UTI at a time when the company was suffering poor financial performance and dealing with a difficult new application development project supporting the Freight Forwarding business.Within two months streamlined the organization and created focused effort to "fix" the performance of the troubled Freight Forwarding system. By the middle of 2016 we had stabilized the system. UTI IT was approximately 650 people located around the world. Significant IT locations Portland. Or.; Chennai , India; Johannesburg, South Africa; and Manila Philippines. Operating budget of greater than $100M UTI was then acquired by DSV, a Danish company, in January of 2016. After successful integration of UTI IT into the DSV systems I left the company.
