Artist, creator, website designer, community manager, ecommerce, and animator for the Abandoned Teddies art project.I’ve spent 30-odd years in the corporate art/tech space, won some awards, paid a few bills – now it’s time to create something personal.There is a nostalgia to the teddy bears. They can explore feelings of loss that may be painful, freeing, hopeful, angering, empowering…These emotions resonate with everyone at some level.

A Brush With Stars is a Hollywood-style, 500-person, black-tie gala event held annually in two events - one in Melbourne and the other in Sydney. The event has 50 Celebrities painting original art that represents their personal character, and then auctioned off and donating 100% to a local children’s charity.

We have this crazy idea that people love celebrities, art, wine... (I know, right?) They enjoy talking about their favourite athletes and entertainers while savouring a bold red, a cheeky pink, or a dashing white. Responsible for small applications development and systems integration.Programming initially included Access, Excel and Delphi systems. Role progressed to include disaster management planning, MS SQL Server management, integration of Ericsson phone servers, comms management spreadsheets, and a host of internal systems integration projects.Provided key relocation support for communications patching between Perth offices and new Herdsman facilities.

Q Technology was a small IBM reseller and systems integrator providing Unix, networking services and custom written applications.Database development in Access.

I taught music (classical and electric guitar) here for over 10 years. Building from teaching Saturday mornings to over 70 individual lessons per week.During my time here, I started developing educational games on the Atari ST and other computers. The games focused on teaching basic rhythm and note recognition to lower primary school students.We also ran bands for the kids and had concerts every year.Great memories of the school and the Neave family (owners).
