My main tasks involved- Ensuring the work areas and procedures used were safe and hazard free.- The application and consolidation of GRP onto complex multi-part moulds.- Liaising with the line manager about component lead times and quality standards.- Preparing moulds for use and the removal of parts without damage.Achievements:- The modification to manufacturing processes on a large mould to ensure the safety of working personnel, reduce the fabrication time, and improve the part quality significantly. - Helping to generate process time plans for new projects and create technical drawings for their manufacture. - The successful fabrication of a particularly problematic part due to its geometric complexity and tendency to cause heat build-ups.
