I am a self-described “intertextual thinker” who earned a BA in English from Bar Ilan University, where I first turned a literary lens on the Bible ...and a biblical lens on literature. Literary sources for my lectures and writing have run the gamut from the English Renaissance to the Harlem Renaissance.My contributions to “The Torch” – the aptly named blog of the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance (https://www.jofa.org/) – provided the much-needed inducement to launch an eponymous blog of my own (https://timnahurwich.com/).I teach Honors English and Diplomacy at the Evelina de Rothschild Secondary School in Jerusalem and am a founding partner and teacher at The IT Factor, an after-school program for high achievers and deep thinkers in grades 7-10.
