Tim Nation is cofounder and executive director of Peace Learning Center, a community educational institution that teaches peace building and communication skills to youth and adults. The Center has served more than 300,000 people in Central Indiana since its inception in 1997. With a background in management and public relations, Nation previously served as Indiana AmeriCorps Director and Director of the Indiana Board of Pharmacy. He is a graduate of Indiana State University and a Terre Haute native. Nation serves as an Executive Committee Member of the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, and Member/Past Co-Chair of the Indianapolis Race and Cultural Relations Leadership Network, and is a Member of the Mission Advisory Board of the Sisters of Providence. He was named a “Distinguished Hoosier” by Indiana Governor Frank O’Bannon and a “Sagamore of the Wabash” by Governor Eric Holcomb.
