I came out of college with the desire to be an entrepreneur but with no clue as to what business I wanted to run or start. A mentor suggested looking into being a banker because of the exposure and experience I would get working with fellow entrepreneurs. Well, 20+ years later I am happy to say I found my calling working alongside entrepreneurs to help them achieve their dreams. I am still an entrepreneur at heart and love being able to work in that environment on a daily basis.Throughout my years as a commercial banker I found a specialized lending product in the SBA. The SBA allowed me to provide better structured capital to my clients. The SBA allows me to be able to provide outside of the box solutions that provide win/win scenarios for both my bank and the client. I am proud that I have taken multiple banks to become top 10 SBA lenders in the Midwest and doing it in a way that provides sound growth for the bank. Now, I am excited to take what I have learned throughout my career and take a leadership role in a bank. It turns out I was able to be that entrepreneur after all!
