A graduate of the University of Leicester, having successfully completed a Ph.D in physical chemistry and a prior Masters's degree in Chemistry with Forensics, currently work in the pharmaceutical sector as a Manager in the Pharmaceutical Development department for Jazz Pharmaceuticals, having been promoted three times to showcase my ambitious appetite and drive to succeed. As a manager, developing and implicating new strategies to run a 7-strong team of analysts in early to late-phase development. The work is governed around drug substance submission, wherein the data we produce is an integral part of the submission dossiers with a particular focus on specific CMC sections. The work evolves around the complex behavior and characterisation of botanical products whilst synthetic ones are also driven forward.Considered to have high levels of determination, self-motivation, and a firm sense of responsibility. Performance at high standards is exemplified by being awarded the Shimadzu Prize from the university during Masters degree and many professional achievements, for one successfully securing two promotions in just over one year. The new role has greatly advanced skillsets to include people management and development, project development, and experience in regulatory support for the submission of documents for NDAs, on top of a catalog of technical abilities (some of which are given below)Professional technical experience, including but not limited to, HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS , UV-Vis, IR, and NIR. To complement this a strong academic background in mass spectrometry, more specifically TOF-MS.
