My research focused on friction and wear of materials. At VTT I successfully performed several research tasks including project preparation, project management and reporting. In addition, I have published several scientific journal articles and given presentations in international conferences.I have had short term research visits at INM – Leibniz-Institute for New Materials and DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2011. In 2013 I was a visiting research scientist at Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics (SINANO) for a year.

I followed up VTT's China activities and kept contact with other Finnish and Chinese stakeholders. I created China instructions for VTT employees and coordination system for VTT's China activities (visits, negotiations and sales). In addition, I have developed China sales process and successfully generated R&D projects to China market.

Finland And Shanghai

Coordination of VTT's research activities and offering for Chinese market. I was working in close collaboration with local partners in China.

I enhanced communication between Finnish and Chinese partners, such as companies, investors, government representatives etc. In addition I organised several events and company visits in Suzhou Industrial Park.

Tampere

My responsibility was to make 2D drawings, order samples, create codes and arrange quality tests for cell phone parts customized for telephone operators.For a short period I was responsible for the mechanical variants made for Chinese operators. I also visited the manufacturing sites in China for the first time.
