Lecturer for the Department Environmental, Process and Energy Engineering (Bachelor Level), for the Department Biotechnology and Food Engineering (Bachelor Level), and for the Deparment Mechatronics (Master Level)

Leader of a cross-business additive manufacturing initiative including strategic cooperations in the fields of material and process development, design and applications. The aim was to transfer existing 3d printing know-how from rapid prototyping into serial production.

Responsible for the project portfolio leading to technical, exploratory and strategic innovations including (i) development and implementation of a company wide project and portfolio management system, (ii) consulting, training and coaching of project leaders along the development process, (iii) project controlling, (iv) link to other departments and business units, and (v) portfolio reporting.

From 2010 till 2013 technical research (patent research), combined with internal and external networking activities, e. g. as representative of D. Swarovski KG at the Industrial Research Institute (IRI), this position gave support to various innovation initiatives in different departments.Till 2010 my activities were focussed on various projects on laser material processing and applied laser technologies including process monitoring and laser safety.

Developing, implementing and improving process-oriented procedures across various and different functions were the challenging tasks as quality management assistant. The main tasks at Radiooncology Innsbruck were (i) dose-planning for treatment of cancer patients, (ii) dosimetry at therapeutic units (quality assurance), and (iii) implementation of a new positioning system for patients required for interstitial brachy therapy.Contributions to the feasability study of the MedAUSTRON-project allowed for detailed insight into organisational requirements und economic boundaries setting up and running a Heavy-Ion-Treatment-Facility.
