Responsibilities:• SW delivery/integration manager in 2 SW platform release programs (Nokia X2, Nokia Asha 501).• Resourcing and leading SW integration & releasing project team of ~20 people. Target setting and performance evaluation for the team members.• Planning SW release schedule, SW branching, CI and test automation.• Leading SW developer task force group taking care of the Nokia X2 code porting to new chipset/Android version.• Acting as a last mile “gatekeeper/reviewer” for all the final code changes going in for product SW.• Presenting releasing related topics in program-wide info calls/auditorium sessions. • Before the SW delivery manager roles, worked as a 3rd party Soc SW integration manager whose responsibility was to operate in SoC vendor interface ensuring the 3rd party Soc SW integration for Nokia products worked smoothly.Achievements:• First ever in-house Android Open Source Project based product by Nokia/Microsoft, “Nokia X2” productized in record time of 32 weeks. AOSP was a new platform for the team which makes the achievement something • Nokia Asha 501 which was the first product to utilize the new UI SW framework acquired by Nokia. Despite tight program schedule, the Asha 501 was out in the market just as planned.• Good feedback from both program managers and project subordinates.
