As a Business Analyst specialized in Business Intelligence, I enabled managers at RHEINZINK to base their decisions on data. RHEINZINK is the world’s leading manufacturer of titanium zinc products. With more than 500 employees worldwide, RHEINZINK serves the needs of its customers in the building industry with high-quality zinc products made in Germany. In my role as a Business Analyst, I assisted different functions of the company to access, transform and use data. For this, I worked on improving our analytical capabilities and on implementing a variety of dynamic reports in cooperation with different functional managers.Selected Projects I worked on include: - Building Business Intelligence capabilities in a green field approach that included designing the architecture, setting up different tools and integrating data sources. - Creating dynamic reports for different functions by selecting data sources, building data models using SQL and presenting data using Qlik Sense.- Introducing agile approaches for development and project management by adapting DevOps and Scrum to the needs of the team.
