I could now start raving about myself, my skills, achievements and successes so far and formulate great-sounding sentences that start with "Proven record...", "Demonstrated skills in..." or "Experienced professional..." ... but that wouldn't be me - and that's for others to judge. I stand for friendliness, authenticity, reliability and down-to-earthness. The latter in particular contradicts the common practice on LinkedIn of exaggerated self-assessment and overestimation.So let's put the facts on the table. After leaving school, I took an unusual path for today's world and completed a commercial apprenticeship. --> No Bachelor's degree--> no Master's degree (at least not full-time at University)--> no student life (although I would certainly have made an excellent student outside of university...)I wanted to stand on my own two feet, have my own apartment and learn how to handle the money I had earned. Studying part-time alongside my 40-hour job as a sales employee (Master of Technical Management CCI) then paved the way for me to take the path I wanted to take - International Technical Sales.My work as an expat in Asia, responsible for business development, i.e. market development and market expansion in APAC, still shapes me today. Unfortunately, Corona kicked in with no mercy. But what I have learned - professional opportunities like this will always be a special attraction for me.Today, I am passionate about automation, IoT, Industry 4.0, cloud solutions - all the topics that will shape our industrial and macroeconomic future. And even though I haven't had the chance to gain any experience in this area yet, I believe that I would make a good team lead. Employee responsibility is a conceivable next career step for me, but not a must.
