Between 2013-2014 he worked for FUAS - Federation of Universities of Applied Sciences (HAMK - Lahti - Laurea). He was responsible for developing Education Export Activities at FUAS.From 2009 to 2013 he was active in promoting and expanding International Research & Development & Innovation projects at Lahti University of Applied Sciences (LUAS). Prior to 2009 he was the Head of International Relations at LUAS, taking the position at the foundation of LUAS in 1994. He was responsible for the internationalisation of educational programmes and mobility, as well as overall strategic management and development.Timo held several positions at the European Association for International Education (EAIE) between 2001 and 2014.
