Ensuring that the organization adheres to laws and regulations remains the bread and butter of compliance professionals, but expectations for the role are changing. In my role as VP International Compliance, I have witnessed the transformation of the payments industry over the past decade. To make sure that our business remains compliant with the applicable rules and regulations on different continents, I have built strong risk and compliance frameworks that tackles the main risks businesses are facing. By making use of new technologies and integrating innovative third-party compliance tools, companies stay “in-control” and are flexible enough to deal with new emerging risks in a fast-changing environment.
