Got IT education, but in the end found myself in producing and team management. Starting from 1998, I went from being a general designer to Head of production and for more than 12 years, have led teams to create CGI and 3D animation.Since 2015 I’ve been a co-owner and CEO of dobro° (www.dobroccs.com), an award-winning studio which provides CG and motion design services. Here I am engaged in business development and administration. Having perfected the skill of time management and self-organization, I’m deeply familiar with project production and sometimes give master-classes on task planning for the team. If I’m not dealing with the strategic plans right now, you may probably find me by the ping-pong table smashing down anybody who dared to challenge me.Our studio has participated in various international multimedia projects, from logo design for a movie company in India to the 360 dome light show for King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in Saudi Arabia. We have worked with companies such as Adidas, Škoda, Mastercard, Bayer, and provided video content for breathtaking movie titles, appealing commercials and complex multimedia shows. During COVID-19 we’ve transformed our team to make it more adapted for remote work. We’ve moved into the virtual Zoom office from where successfully continue to turn pixels into magic. Also, a great importance is attached to the team’s well-being and our HR helps us to organize cute activities so that everyone feels involved. We are all about meaning. This is the main form-building tenet which guides us no matter what we do — from pre-production step when we intend to create a unique story (both in meaning and visuals), till post-production when we polish the details that are especially dear to the customer until the final output.Sometimes I’ll post here about the mysteries of the CG industry, and a few insights regarding team supervising and management.
