Currently leading a combined team of Production System Development and Production Planning professionals. Together we focus on enhancing the overall efficiency of production and improving customer satisfaction. The key tasks of system development include algorithm based production control tool development, capacity planning, Lean manufacturing, MES and ERP system development and Smart Factory projects, including automation and advanced production systems. Production planning strives for supply chain efficiency and on-time delivery by maintaining short and long-term production plans. The team coordinates production schedules, material and resource requirements and executes S&OP to set the direction for production.

Working as a Manager in a team that aims to develop the overall efficiency of production. The main focus area of the team is system development including algorithm based production control tool, capacity planning, investment planning and solution development for advanced production. Projects cover material flow management improvements, enhancement of production control tools to aid operators daily work, Lean and Value Stream Mapping activities and new technology investigation such as UWB based Real-Time Location Systems to improve the traceability and flow control of production material.

I was leading a project which aims to develop solutions for equipment integration & automation via equipment-to-host (SECS/GEM) data communications. Project included MES-system interface development and system modeling improvements to build real-time controls and to enhance the quality of production data. My other main responsibility was production capacity planning which includes capacity calculation, scenario planning, investment proposals and planning tools development utilizing production data. I also focused on developing algorithm based production control system and working with various production planning and production system development tasks including process development, production management and material flow management. Work required advanced data-analysis and problem-solving skills utilizing e.g. SQL queries to obtain MES and ERP data, MS-Excel and Visual Basic for Applications.

I was responsible for Murata’s element manufacturing continuous improvement (kaizen) activities. I facilitated the kaizen proposal reviews and coordinated the implementation of improvement actions. I also did production layout planning projects and participated in the realization of layout changes. In addition, I planned workstations and auxiliary tools to enhance operators’ daily work and to achieve desired product quality.
