It ensures I stay focussed, be attentive to others and continue to improve as a person. I have 5 core objectives that I am constantly striving to achieve in life – Having Balance, Being Vicarious, Showing Empathy, Gaining Happiness and Living Contently. The basis of my experience came from my first job with a large Australian bank. Those first 12 years would become the backbone of everything that has followed. It acquainted me with customer service, consultancy, leadership, coaching, risk assessment, analysis, business management, sales and training; amongst others. Upon leaving the bank I made a list of the responsibilities I had in my previous role and focussed on the ones I like most, which were coaching and training. Right then, I made a conscious choice to choose Learning and Development as a career.Since that time key roles have included Managing Director, Head of Training & Development, Organisational Development Manager and a Learning & Development Manager.All of these experiences have allowed me to create a persona that I strive for in any learning environment.
