Close work with both clients and construction companies was an essential component of this experience. It paved the way for the work he would later do at NYULMC where construction would be an ongoing theme at this integrated medical center. -

His job experience included the extraction and analysis of semi-volatile organic contamination from soil and water. This lab experience helped to familiarize him with the interpretation of lab results, develop an understanding of the role that Quality Control plays in analysis, and provided firsthand experience working in a lab. This experience continues to pay dividends as an industrial hygienist working in research environment.
