-Planning and carrying out audit field work, statutory reporting and completion work for companies active in Mauritius;-Supervising and coaching junior members of staff;-Preparing an audit file in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing (“ISA”) and BDO's standards. -Preparing a report outlining the findings from audit work. -Keeping managers and partners up to date with progress of the audit;-Visiting clients on-site and being a point of contact for the client throughout the year;

-Deliver quality auditing services to clients and their stakeholders.-Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations-Collaborate to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk.-Direct field work, manage engagements and inform supervisors of the audit engagement status.-Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed.-Develop and maintain productive working relationships with audit client personnel, assess audit clients' satisfaction and proactively maintain contact with the audit client throughout the year.-Supervise junior engagement team members and develop them through effectively delegating audit tasks and providing guidance to assurance staff.

-Perform audits engagements for key clients-Review financial statements-Work closely with the Managers, Supervisors and Staff to ensure clients receive the best possible service-Manage multiple assignments and able to work under pressure-Provide excellent guidance and support to the members of the audit team on a daily basis-Reporting to the Managers/Supervisors on daily tasks and client issues

-Review and analyse the accounting documents and annual reports of the clients-Cooperate with customers from different industries and their business processes -Prepare analyses of financial and non-financial data as well as audit documents-Be in constant communication with the staff on status-Discuss and analyse regularly with the team all issues that arise during the work process

-Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.-Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.-Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.-Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.-Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards-Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock

-Mauritius Holiday Package (Flights, Hotels and Tours) and Wedding & Honeymoon Packages-Customer Reservations/Enquiries (Phone, Outlook E-Mails)-Preparation of Weddings & Events in Mauritius-Customer Service Relations in Mauritius-Advertising and Optimisation (Updating Company Website, Google Analytics, Designing leaflets)

-Updating purchase and sales invoices, coding, and posting to ledger.-Producing management accounts.-Completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.-Preparing weekly and monthly accounts.-Production of trial balance for month end and preparation of audit.
