I started with Neptco in 1992. After 4 years on the production floor learning/operating an array of manufacturing and secondary processing machines, I moved into the engineering department as a technician; I was promoted to Process Engineer in 2000, and have enjoyed the challenges of expanding capacity and transforming our processes to meet ever-changing market demands over these past 17 years. My primary area of focus has been the manufacture of composite strength members (fiber optic cable components), including elements of machine design, process improvement and raw materials evaluation. I have also worked closely over the years with manufacturers of single-end fiber glass rovings to improve their performance and efficiency in our applications.
