As a Program Manager of 2 concurrent programs with a component wide reach (over 60K employees) I have been charged with developing policy, mission goals, milestones, communication plans and matrices to determine the effectiveness of our engagement. Designed and tested SharePoint deployment of both programs under budget and before due dates by implementing iteration. Researched content relevant and engaging to internal customers that supported not only agency missions, but component and division missions. Supporting work site opportunities found on and off the installation to enable a successful transition plan.Providing access and referral to Army education counselors, Veterans Affairs (VA) and Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) counselors, Department of Labor (DOL) Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOP) coordinators or Local Veterans Employment Representatives (LVERs) and other government and community support organizations.Coordinating with Occupational Therapist (OT) staff and the Career Counselor to select appropriate Career and Educational Readiness (CER) activities aligned with the Soldier’s track choice, anticipated final medical disposition and career goals.Networking with Federal and Civilian employers to provide work opportunities for an average case load of 100+ Soldiers in transition. Providing resume review support and instruction using lecture and one on one counseling sessions. Creates and maintained ad-hoc, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports that tracked Soldiers progress through the Warrior Transition Unit to the Soldiers final destination whether Civilian employment or a return to their home unit. Increased Soldier participation from 65 percent to 75 percent within the first six months. Current participation rate is at 85%.Prepares weekly briefs to Company, Battalion and Brigade level management.Ensure compliance with Soldier For Life 6 month transition program for each soldier so that they can complete the program on time. Attends weekly briefings with entire care team to discuss and resolve soldiers unique issues in terms of transitioning to civilian workforce or back to previous unit. Provides transportation support for soldiers to attend local and regional job fairs.Trains new Cadre and provides refresher training to current Cadre on Warrior Transition Policies and Procedures in regards to Career and Education Readiness and Comprehensive transition plans for each soldier.

Primarily HR Liaison supporting over 40 employees. Developing Human capital strategy, onboarding program, Peer Recognition Awards Program. Creating trackers for personel issues and wage in grade and step promotions. Presenting to senior leadership and stakeholders for VBMS. Developing training specific to VBMS PMO and career progression. Revising job descriptions that accurately reflect the duties and responsibilities of the 4 divisions within the PMO. Supporting internal and external communications for the Directors Staff and Comm Team. Drafting emails and presentations for internal and external stake holders. Communicate career opportunities to clients and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors. Serving as a subject matter expert and Human Resource Consultant to employers and clients. Creating workforce solutions for employers through marketing the value of hiring Veterans with disabilities. Maintaining a systematic marketing approach to create employment related networks. Broadening the awareness of the value of hiring disabled Veterans. Creating career opportunities with employers that include on the job training programs and special employer incentives. Providing labor market information to Veterans and staff in order to formulate a vocational plan that will be viable in the marketplace.
