I am a postdoctoral researcher at Columbia University working with Dr. Meghan Meyer investigating how the brain represents subjective social connections. I received my Ph.D. in Social Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2022 where I worked with Dr. Dylan Wagner researching how social information is represented in the brain as well as the neural correlates of narrative experiences. Through the use of tools including functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), machine learning, and popular media, my work has examined questions related to how we inform impressions of other people, how we adopt the first-person perspective of characters, and how these processes affect our representations of others when we later bring them back to mind.
