The Icon Group is Australia’s largest dedicated provider of cancer care with a growing reach into Asia and New Zealand. Their digital team specialises in delivering and maintaining boutique internal-use web applications designed to integrate a number of third-party applications from the healthcare space. Responsibilities:- Front-end design and development- Liaising with the Product Managers to provide superior product outcomes- Liaising with Back-End developers to develop appropriate API solutions for Front-End problems- Liaising with QA to investigate bugs and strengthen future test cases Mentoring junior developers- Frontline debugging of customer-facing production issuesNotable Achievements:-Leading a large scale uptake in front-end unit testing, bringing minimal tests up to over 50% and climbing code coverage-Assisting Head of QA in designing and developing an internal framework for using Cypress for automated end-to-end testing-Rebuilding and integrating isolated Laravel+JQuery pages into a modern Vue single-page application

As one of the full stack developers as SMG, I am among those responsible for maintaining and enhancing their flagship Corporate Wellness mobile app, Kiqplan. As one of the more experienced developers, my duties have included:● Leading front-end design and development● Leading App redesign● Liaising with the Design Team and Product Managers to provide superior product outcomes● Mentoring developers in JavaScript best practice● Researching and providing information about front-end technologies to the CTO● Researching and applying best practice coding standards● Helping refine and document procedures and standards● Creating acceptance criteria for agile user stories● Reviewing and providing suggestions on junior developer merge request● Tracking down and remedying tough to find bugs across both back and front endMy proudest achievement here is implementing an app-wide redesign. The Kiqplan app was suffering from having an old and tired design. I was asked to take mock-ups of a new design and theme, and implement them as a reskin of the existing app. I took ownership of the implementation, provided feedback and my own touches, and strengthened the design and development lifecycle in place. I henceforth led the way to a fully realised redesign, which has been met exceptional positivity from both internal and external clients.
