Worked with the Blue Angels to confirm that 28E effectively enabled them to accomplish their mission.-Worked with engineers, developmental test pilots, operational test pilots, fleet aviators, and tacticians from MAWTS-1 to identify, troubleshoot, and solve technical issues in the F/A-18 as they arose.-Led a diverse team of engineers and aviators to redesign the user interface on the F/A-18A-D for the Marine Corps’ premier forward looking infrared system, the LITENING targeting pod (LPOD), after identifying critical flaws in the crew vehicle interface (CVI) and initiating a program to resolve the issues.

-Develop academic skills necessary for aircraft developmental testing and evaluation including mathematics, aeronautics, aircraft performance and handling theory, mission systems theory/operation, flight test techniques, report writing, and risk identification/mitigation. -Develop flight test skills and techniques through planning and testing of multiple types of aircraft to include civilian and foreign-service models.-Served as a fixed wing flight group leader in charge of coordinating test team efforts for the conduct of various flight test projects, data reduction, and preparation of technical reports. Worked with and led multi-service, civilian, and international teammates.-Planned, flew, reduced data, and prepared technical reports for over 15 flight test profiles, encompassing over 83 sorties and 95 mishap-free flight hours.-Completed thesis in an all-inclusive Developmental Test of the Shinmaiwa US-2 flying boat in Iwakuni, Japan. Gained direct experience operating in complex operational environments with foreign partner nations.Graduated as an Experimental Test Pilot with USNTPS Class 151.

Assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 232 (VMFA-232) Red Devils at MCAS MiramarF/A-18C Pilot:-Tactically employ the F/A-18C in all roles and mission sets.Flight Officer:-Plan squadron current and future operations.-Conduct the Operational Risk Management Process on the daily flight schedule.-Provide leadership and guidance to the Operations Division Marines.Administration Officer in Charge:-Supervise all administrative functions of the squadron.-Oversee all command travel and awards.-Provide leadership and guidance to the Administrative Shop Marines.-Serve as the Legal Officer to advise the squadron Commanding Officer about legal related matters impacting the squadron.-Completed one combat deployment to Bahrain as part of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force- Crisis Response- Central Command 15.2 (SPMAGTF-CR-CC 15.2).-Flew 35 combat missions for 248.9 combat hours over Iraq and Syria in support of Operation Inherent Resolve in the fight against the Islamic State. Executed 28 separate attacks in support of coalition forces on the ground in complex and challenging operational situations. Successfully led 16 combat missions that accomplished the operational objective of the coalition commander. Awarded five Air Medals (Strike/Flight) in 2015.-Completed one deployment to Iwakuni, Japan in support of the Unit Deployment Program. Flew sorties in multinational exercises, including Cobra Gold in Thailand, Max Thunder in South Korea, PHIBLEX 14.1 in the Philippines, and Forager Fury II in Guam. Worked closely as a representative of the United States with members of foreign allied militaries to accomplish tactical missions and to build international relations between the United States and important regional allies.-Qualified as an F/A-18A-D NATOPS Instructor, providing instruction and ensuring other F/A-18A-D aircrew meet all required safety standards to operate the aircraft.

-Completed the Student Naval Aviator training program, including qualification for day aircraft carrier operations in the T-45C Goshawk at VT-21 in Training Air Wing 2. -Designated a Naval Aviator on 8 April 2011.

-Completed the Primary Flight Training course of instruction at 8th Flying Training Squadron, Vance AFB.-Led members of multiple services as the Class Leader.-Worked with a different branch of the military and was exposed to a separate flying culture.

-Completed the Aviation Preflight Indoctrination course of instruction.-Outstanding Student Award for achieving the top academic performance in the class. -Led members of multiple military services as the Class Leader.

-Completed The Basic School (TBS) Course of Instruction to learn fundamental skills required of USMC officers.-Graduated in the top 10% of the class and placed on the Commanding General’s Honor Roll.

-Completed intensive 1-year Masters of Science in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland as part of the Voluntary Graduate Education Program (VGEP).-Served as a substitute teacher in Aerospace Engineering courses at the U.S. Naval Academy. -Volunteer Assistant Coach for the U.S. Naval Academy Varsity Offshore Sailing Team.
